About The January Project

The January project was sparked by the challenges we had finding beautiful affordable objects online last Christmas. We’re building an online experience inspired by lazy Sunday afternoons wandering around artisan markets, buying directly from the seller’s own stores.

Our featured online stores are carefully curated by our team of enthusiasts and checked by our office dog Hugo, a canine of extremely discerning taste.

If you’re an artist, maker or small brand selling online, apply to be showcased on our site. It’s completely free (although you will have to be vetted by Hugo first).
